THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS
At St. James Preschool, we have streamlined the enrollment process to give parents a quick turnaround on space availability for your child. We guarantee a prompt response once you have submitted your application during our two enrollment weeks.
Priority Applications
January 23 – 27, 2012
As a courtesy, we provide Priority registration to returning St. James Preschool students, children of active members of St James Church and siblings of current or former students.. A non-refundable application fee of $40.00 must accompany the application and we will begin accepting applications on January 23. Priority applicants will be notified of acceptance by February 1, 2012. If we receive a Priority application after January 28, 2011, it will go into the general application pool.
General Applications
January 30 – February 3, 2012
For those who don’t fall into the above category, you may submit a General application during the week beginning January 30, 2012. Applications may be submitted in person or by mail to the school or church office. A non-refundable application fee of $40.00 must accompany the application. General applicants will be notified of status no later than February 10, 2012. Final acceptances and schedules will be confirmed by mail. For the Multi-age program, a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 will be due within 5 days of notification to secure enrollment. The non-refundable deposit for all Four Year Old classes is $1000.00. Every attempt will be made to accommodate scheduling requests.
Tuition Assistance
The St. James Preschool offers tuition assistance to applicants who can demonstrate need. Decisions regarding tuition assistance will be handled by the St. James Preschool Board of Trustees at its sole discretion. Full and partial assistance is available. 2011-2012 Tuition rates:
Multi-age- 3 days – $4900; 4 days – $5900; 5 days – $6750 for the school year
Young Fours Class – 4 days – $7200; 5 days – $7500
Full Day Pre-K – 4 days – $8550; 5 days – $ 8850
